Service Charge Accountant – Luton (Hybrid) – c£35-40k
Our client is one of the largest Property Services groups in Europe, overseeing an extensive portfolio of leasehold flats and communal spaces across the UK on behalf of developers, freeholders and resident management companies.
Within their Service Charge Accounting team they now require an additional service charge accountant as follows:
– Headquartered in Luton, working Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm (35 hours per week) with a degree of home working once settled
– Reporting to the head of service charge accounts
– You will have at least 2 years’ service charge accounting experience (within leasehold management)
– Preparing Service Charge Accounts for Properties under management
– Liaising with Auditors with regards to year ends
– Working internally with Property Managers to ensure budgets meet development needs
– Communication with clients and residents as required, resolving queries and providing updates/information as required
– Maintaining accurate records on the in-house system used
Suitable Service Charge Accountant applicants will ideally hold (or wish to work towards) AAT/ACCA qualification, have exposure to property management related software (QUBE, PropMAN or similar) and live within commuting range of Luton.
