Head of Surveying Network
My client is seeking an experienced Residential Surveyor to step into a newly created role.
Their new Head of Surveying Network will support and aim to develop the existing network of 100 consultant surveyors to about 250 surveyors.
This will be a full-time role with some hybrid working available. On this basis, you must be able to commute to a NW London office regularly.
Requirements
- MRICS / FRICS
- Excellent communication skills, organised, pro-active and self-motivated.
- Be tech-savvy and have experience of tablet-based survey software.
- Experience of developing and managing a team of surveyors.
- Have experience of dealing with operational surveying issues.
- Be comfortable being the first port of call for network surveyors and be able to delegate and follow up on issues with a wider team (including those of a technical nature).
Duties
- Assist the recruitment team in finding new consultant surveyors to join the network.
- Manage and undertake all aspects of onboarding new consultant surveyors to the network.
- Provide an initial point of support for existing consultant surveyors with regard to surveying queries or questions.
- Assist in providing internal feedback on bespoke in-house surveying software to improve the service offering, maintain RICS alignment and compliance, and identify issues for fixes.
- Liaise with the technical team to assist surveyors with any technical issues or problems with software in the field.
- You must be technology savvy and have a passion for team management and dealing with people daily.
- Liaise with the Sales and Operational teams and provide technical advice and guidance
- This is an off the tools role and you will not be expected to undertake surveys
Package
This is a full-time role offering a basic salary of up to £60k with bonuses tied to clear performance metrics and benefits.
