Senior Surveyor – Technical, Compliance and Claims – £80-100k + benefits
We’re working with one of the larger (but still independent) property services groups who are looking to appoint a Senior Surveyor as follows:
- Focused on technical, compliance, complaints and claims matters with an element of specialist fee earning (at low volume) in between
- No geographical restrictions, our client is headquartered in London but is open to a suitable surveyor working from anywhere to suit (providing they can visit head office occasionally/as required)
- You must have extensive technical knowledge enabling provision of companywide guidance on matters pertaining to risk, compliance and claim – alongside client facing skills to deal with the same.
- Fee earning work would comprise complex, high fee valuations as opposed to standard volume lender reports (i.e. private valuations, matrimonial, probate etc.), though this would form a lesser part of the role for those living outside of London and/or the home counties.
- Reporting to the Head of Surveying, sitting between the regular fee earning surveyors and board of directors (essentially acting in an advisory capacity)
- You’ll be MRICS/FRICS with VRS and at least 7-10 years’ experience in the sector
In addition to a high basic starting around £70k you will enjoy a generous percentage of any fee earning alongside a car, pension and private health. The total package (depending on location) is likely to be in the region of £80-100k
